An illustrated cookbook project with 40 countries, 40 handwritten recipes, 40 opening pictures with the handwritten headlines and 5 maps. As well as hours of researching. sketching and discussions with writers and editors.
The book is divided into 5 parts, each of them starts with a map with specific food items of this region.
Each spread consists of the main text, several facts and a recipe. They are accompanied with the opening illustration with hand written name of the country, small texts are illustrated with drawings as well. The recipe consists of an illustration and hand written text.
This collection of cooking notes and recipes la real trip around the world, which can be started right from the kitch-en! Countries and continents are revealed through culinary traditions, and it seems that the whole world is a big friend ly company that seems to have gathered around the same table and shares the most delicious dishes with each other.
